On Tuesday, 14th September 2021, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, a redesigned iPhone that comes with a ton of upgrades including the new cinematic video mode. Let’s talk about this.
Design and Display
The new iPhone 13 has a beautiful design with the same flat-edge display as the iPhone 12. A smaller notch which is 20% smaller than that on the iPhone 12. The camera however has been reoriented with just two lenses diagonally positioned instead of vertically. The iPhone 13 comes in five colors – pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and Product Red
Coupled up with the beautiful displays include the smaller notch, brighter displays, the faster A15 Bionic chip, and according to Apple, the battery life on the iPhone 13 will be the best so far.
One of the most talked of a feature on the iPhone 13 is the cinematic video mode. In the cinematic video mode, you can focus on subjects, blur out the background and automatically change the focus as you shoot. It is said to be one of the coolest upgrades so far.
iPhone 13 mini starts at $799 and iPhone 13 at $899 with 128GB of storage. The iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max at 1,099. Plus, there’s a new 1TB option.

The iPhone 13 is scheduled to be released on September 24 for all four models. The iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available to pre-order on Friday, September 17.
