Tecno launched Tecno Spark 8 without any official launch or social media post, which doesn’t sound right.

The Spark 8 comes with a 6.5 inch LCD 720 x 1600 Resolution that houses a teardrop notch that Tecno calls “Dot in Display” for the selfie camera. In addition, the Spark 8 comes with a new design which is gradually starting up a conversation on social media. It has a super shiny plastic back with a massive cut-out for the dual camera and the fingerprint scanner.

Other highlights of the Spark 8 is the power button and volume rocker keys on the right side, a sim trail that can take a dual nano sim and a micro SD card on the left, and the headphone jack, the charging port and the microphone.

The Tecno Spark 8 is powered by the Mediatek Helio P22 SoC, runs Android 11-based HiOS 6.1, and has 2GB RAM and 64GB storage onboard. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, which allows storage expansion by up to 256GB. Also, it houses a whooping 5000Mah.

The Spark 8 comes with a 16MP Dual Camera as the primary sensor, a VGA Senor Lens of 8MP at the back, and an 8MP selfie shooter at the front. For videos, the Spark 8 shoots 1080 at 30fps for both front and back cameras.

The main selling point of the Spark 8 should be the 5000Mah battery and the 64GB of storage. It estimated a comfortable two days of usage for the average user on a single charge. However, no fast charger is added to the box, quite evident considering about $200.

Would you possibly upgrade from the Tecno Spark 7 to Spark 8, or would you maybe get the Spark 8? Share your thoughts.
